The Company

Our client is a well established, growing, supplier of exclusive high end loose furniture for residential and commercial projects. They have offices in Sydney and Melbourne and this role is based from their stunning showroom in the Lower North Shore. They have been in operation for almost 50 years and have a fantastic culture, an impressive tenure of staff and they are looking to employ an experienced contract sales executive in Sydney. 

The Role

In this relationship driven sales role you will spend the majority of your week in front of various decision makers in the commercial fit out process. Target projects include workplace, hospitality, retail and Education. You will work closely with the Tier 1 A&D/Specifiers and also follow through to builder, developer or end user. You will be supported by the Sydney sales & operations team and the role is extremely autonomous. After successful completion of training and your probation period the role will have flexibility in terms of work from home options. The management team are very supportive and the budget is extremely achievable. You would be expected to be client facing with Tier 1 A&D at least 5 times a week and have a healthy continous pipeline of projects. The role is focused on NSW but you will also be able to target QLD and other markets. 

Skills Required

We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills;

  • 3-5 years + proven architectural sales experience in NSW – ideally within the high end furniture / interiors industry.
  • Strong face to face relationships building skills and superb presentation skills.
  • A self-motivated, proactive approach to selling and building relationships.
  • Proven track record in selling and specifying fit out products via Tier 1 A&D clients in NSW.
  • Knowledge of commercial furniture or associated high end interior fit out products.
